At Langly, our bags are designed to perform no matter what conditions the field throws at it. We’re so confident in the quality of our bags that if your Langly product fails we’ll replace it, subject to the conditions below.
If your bag has a fault due to a manufacturing defect, please contact us and we’ll guide you through what needs to happen to get it repaired, or if it can’t be repaired, replaced with an equivalent product.
Important points about our Lifetime Warranty
Langly changed ownership in March 2021 - our lifetime warranty applies to all bags purchased after this date. Bags purchased prior to this date come with a 12 month warranty.
Wherever possible, we will repair a product rather than replace it. Repairing products is better for the environment than sending products to a landfill. In line with the Langly sustainability policy, we will offer bag repairs for most issues, unless the bag is beyond repair. When replacing a product, we will replace your product with gear in the same or better condition.
If the bag cannot be economically repaired or if we no longer stock your product, we’ll replace it with an equivalent item or give you a credit to the value of your original purchase.
Components such as zippers and buckles may be repaired with or replaced by equivalent parts. These may differ from the original components.
Our lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects or failures that make the product unusable. It does not cover cosmetic damage, damage from misuse or lack of care, lost or stolen bags, or accidental damage due to handling. It doesn’t cover general wear and tear, stains, scratches, sun exposure, and other defects that might be caused in the usual use of the product. Scratches and scuffs should be considered a badge of honor, a sign to others that you’re out there in the field doing whatever it takes to get the right shot.
We use high quality materials and components in our bags, but even the best materials have a lifespan. We evaluate our products' lifetimes by its intended use and how much use it gets, not just by how old it is. Zippers on any bag will become worn over time and may eventually need to be replaced. Depending on the length of time that has passed, Langly may offer replacement zippers at its discretion.
Our lifetime warranty applies to camera bags only. All other products come with a 12-month warranty.
Bags purchased at authorized retailers are covered under this lifetime warranty policy. Please be prepared to provide an order number or proof of purchase when reaching out about the warranty. Bags purchased second hand or from an unauthorized dealer are not covered.
We no longer use a repair partner (which required shipping to and from their facility). Instead, we will help you locate a bag or luggage repair shop near you that would be able to provide repair services for our bags.
Please note that multiple warranty claims on the same product may be considered negligence, and Langly will use discretion when handling these claims.
Langly is not responsible for covering any import taxes that are incurred due to shipping a replacement product to an international destination.
Langly reserves the right to make changes to this warranty policy in the future.
While we believe in the quality of our products, Langly cannot be held liable for consequential damage or loss of equipment, personal injury, lost profits or revenue, or other related expenses resulting from the use of Langly products.
